Product Review & Giveaway ~ Charlotte Mason Made Easy

I had the pleasure to review a product called Charlotte Mason Made Easy which is a twelve-week online (pdf through email) course. I have received seven of the twelve weeks of the lessons at the time of this review.

I am new to Charlotte Mason and have been very interested in what I have been finding so this course is perfect for me at this time in our homeschooling journey. Each lesson consists of a “Preface”, a “Lesson” (about 3 pages), “Questions” (about 3 pages) and an “Assignment” (just a few questions and normally some reading from CM) along with whatever “Supplements” might be needed. Each lesson is an average of 20 pages. (Don’t let that freak you out though! The type is large enough that it is easy to read and each page has room available on the side for notes.)

So far, the lessons I have received have been on scheduling, what an idea is, learning about “living books”, narration, outdoor education and nature walks. Additionally, I have received two “bonuses”…a book list and an ebook on gardening.

It is very convenient…pdf file straight to my email every week. LOVE IT! I have been opening, saving, printing and putting in a binder so I can sit comfortably and go thru each lesson. The lessons are VERY clear. They are easy to understand, follow and complete.

In my opinion, this would be good for both those new to CM methods and those already familiar. It is a wonderful learning and organizing tool that helps you walk through many of the different important areas of the CM method. It has been EXTREMELY helpful in teaching me the basics of CM and helping me to organize my thoughts.

Would I recommend this to other? Without hesitation! I have GREATLY enjoyed the lessons I have received and am excited to receive the remaining five lessons. Let’s just say this is one of the only things I excitedly wait to receive in my email box each week!

You can learn more about the course HERE. And you can purchase (1/2 off for a limited time) for a one time payment of $24.50 HERE. She does offer a 30-day money back guarantee (but you won’t need it!).

She also has a 30-page FREE ebook on Charlotte Mason. You can get that HERE.

Now for the giveaway. I have one copy to giveaway to one of my readers…enter below…

Have a wonderfully blessed day!

Disclosure: I received a copy of this course in exchange for my honest review. No compensation was received. All opinions are my own.

It is an easy to follow program that takes about a half an hour a week.

That sounds like a great course. I’d love to do a study of her works with others, but it’s unrealistic at the time. Thanks for posting!

I love that she puts different aspects of CM philosophy into practical terms. It sounds like each lesson focuses on just one aspect of CM methodology. I think that would be nice … It’s easier to digest that way. 🙂

It provides criteria to determine whether a read is a living book.

This looks great, and I like that it comes weekly by email, so I can study at my own pace in the comfort of my own home!

Even though I am familiar with the Charlotte Mason philosophy, I was having trouble planning the “implementation” of it. I’m so thankful that this explains how to implement (I was feeling a little insecure about my intelligence) so that I will avoid pitfalls of “overwhelm” and covering topics on lost days. This is an answer to prayer!

I wasn’t aware that there was such a program. I’d love to have another way to learn even more about this great approach to homeschooling.
