Marriage Monday ~ Submission

This meme is hosted by Chrysalis Cafe.

It’s funny to think that I was “excited” when I saw our topic this time was Submission. To think back when that word made me cringe and become more angry than you would ever know – to now when it brings an entire different set of thoughts and feelings. Weird how things change…how the Lord changes us (because some things can only be changed by Him!).

I wrote a post almost a year ago titled “The “S” Word” which really still covers how I feel about this word…so head on over there and see. *grin*

Have a wonderfully blessed day!

I love that you pointed out when we wives step back our husbands step forward. This is so true because the reverse happens in my household all the time. I really want to let my husband take the lead more. Great thoughts, Dawn!

Yeah, anything we can do to add more peace and less uncontrolled conflict sure is good for the whole family. Being able to step back in love and respect sure is a good example for our kids.

    Hi Dawn!

Great post! ‘Give and Take’.. I agree that’s what it is most of the time. As for the keeping my mouth shut thing..I still struggle with it, but with the help of His Grace, I’m getting better!

Thanks for sharing and God bless!
