I received a copy of this book, and like the others Cooper & Me and Cooper & Me and the Winter Adventure, we GREATLY enjoyed it! These books are wonderful! They are simple, yet share wonderful messages for children. The illustrations are so much fun and I just love that they are done by a 12-year-old!

The story is about a military dog (Trooper) that got adopted by a military family and how the children of the mom and dad who are still in the military (therefore far from home) send a package with letters, pictures…and a stuffed dog that looks like Trooper. Sending this package made them ALL feel better.

As usual, at the end of the book, there is a “Life Lesson”, “Connections” and “Learning Together” sections – all meant to bring learning and discussion between parent and child(ren).
