Product Review ~ Organized Homeschool by Anne Elliott

Photobucket

I was given the opportunity to review Organized Homeschool by Anne Elliott over at Foundations Press and let me tell you…this 83 page ebook is P.A.C.K.E.D. FULL of excellent thoughts and suggestions on how to get and continue with an organized homeschool. Now, don’t laugh…give it a try! You can check out a sample HERE.

So, what exactly is covered in this encouraging ebook? First, and most important in my opinion, is A LOT of scripture…I LOVE this! Second, just about anything and everything about your home – from decluttering and organizing, to lighting and music, large families to working from home. There are A LOT of links provided as well.

One of my favorite things she says,

“No, homemaking isn’t your top priority. (God, your husband, and your children come first.) But your home is definitely important, God says. Make it a living, peaceful sanctuary, where clutter doesn’t distract from the most important things of life.”

And another is,

“I am learning that God designed me to do amazingly well at one or two things, fairly well at quite a few things, and horridly at many other things.”

There is a lot about scheduling, making lists and checking them twice. (Definitely my downfall. *grin*) I think, overall, for me, this book was simply encouraging – encouraging to know additional scriptures to turn to, encouraging to know that other homeschool moms struggle with the same things I do and encouraging to know that things CAN BE DIFFERENT / BETTER than they are today.

Another amazing thing…you can get this for only $4.99 by clicking HERE. Or you can enter my giveaway to win one of THREE I get to give away to my readers…enter below…

With everything going on in our lives from homeschooling to Cub Scouts to our homeschool group I sometimes feel that my house is so neglected that I do not even know where to start. I think this would give me that kick start I need.

I’d love some encouragement from the book. I’m working harder on doing things around the house, but it’s often a discouraging task.

I could benefit from learning how to manage multiple ages and proficiencies! With 4 kids, being consistent is sometimes problematic!
