Menu Plan Monday ~ Week Two (9/26/11)

Well, last week (my first week) was…let’s just say…we survived. And I learned A LOT! šŸ™‚

Meal planning involves more than just planning a menu! LOL For instance…cooking two things in the oven at the same time that are on different temps, probably isn’t going to work. (*wink*) Also, having the main ingredient (like the chicken) is VERY important! Ā šŸ™‚

So, here is my “basic ideas” for each day with the actual menu for this week below it:

Mondays: Muffins
Tuesdays: pancakes, eggs and bacon or sausage
Wednesdays: Bread item (likeĀ crescents,Ā biscuits, etc)
Thursdays: Muffins
Fridays: Needs to be quick & easy (or already made)
Saturdays: Needs to be quick & easy (or already made)
Sundays:Ā Oatmeal / Granola

Mondays: Pasta / Chicken
Tuesdays: Taco type / Beef
Wednesdays: we eat at meeting and it’s provided by my mil – YAY!
Thursdays: Casserole
Fridays: Crockpot
Saturdays: Leftovers
Sundays: Pizza

So, for this week…

Breakfast: French toast and sausage
Supper: will be on the road = pbj

Breakfast: Mushroom Sausage Quiche
Supper: Crock pot pork chops & rice

Breakfast: pancakes, bacon, eggs
Supper: provided by mil at meeting

Supper: Leftovers

Hi and thanks for dropping by my menu plan Dawn. šŸ™‚ Hang in there, it may seem hard in the beginning, but it does get easier, and will make your day so much more smoother and organized. Have a great week!

I always admire people who can plan out their meals for the week and then stick to it. I just can’t seen to do it. I have tried:) Thanks for linking up to the NOBH
