Well, last week (my first week) was…let’s just say…we survived. And I learned A LOT! 🙂
Meal planning involves more than just planning a menu! LOL For instance…cooking two things in the oven at the same time that are on different temps, probably isn’t going to work. (*wink*) Also, having the main ingredient (like the chicken) is VERY important! 🙂
So, here is my “basic ideas” for each day with the actual menu for this week below it:
Tuesdays: pancakes, eggs and bacon or sausage
Wednesdays: Bread item (like crescents, biscuits, etc)
Fridays: Needs to be quick & easy (or already made)
Saturdays: Needs to be quick & easy (or already made)
Sundays: Oatmeal / Granola
Mondays: Pasta / Chicken
Tuesdays: Taco type / Beef
Wednesdays: we eat at meeting and it’s provided by my mil – YAY!
So, for this week…
Breakfast: French toast and sausage
Supper: will be on the road = pbj
Breakfast: pancakes, bacon, eggs
Supper: provided by mil at meeting
Breakfast: Lazy Girl Biscuits (Azure Standard p. 63)
Supper: Broccoli Rice Casserole (Azure Standard p. 77)
Breakfast: Grab Whatever
Breakfast: Oatmeal Bake (Azure Standard p. 66)
