It‘s Not About Me
Author: Max Lucado
Hardback; 173 pages
I had the opportunity to review It’s Not About Me by Max Lucado – I am not stranger to his stuff – and in the usual fashion, it didn’t let me down. It is a fairly quick read, and not overly in depth, but it does cause one to stop and remember Who is truly in control – of ALL things (and it’s not us). There are two parts (God-Pondering and God-Promoting) and a twenty-two page study guide at the end. A good quote, “I believe Satan trains battalions of demons to whisper one question in our ears: “What are people thinking of you?” A deadly query. What they think of us matters not. What they think of God matters all.”
This is an enjoyable book to read that will leave you feeling refreshed in the fact that this life is not about me, but about Him.
