Movie Review ~ Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends: The Bug Collection

We had the amazing opportunity to review Max Lucado’s Hermie & Friends: The Bug Collection, Volume 3 which is a three cd set consisting of: Milo the Mantis Who Wouldn’t Pray, Buzby and the Grumble Bees and Hailey & Bailey’s Silly Fight.

We absolutely *LOVE* Hermie & Friends so we were pretty sure we would *LOVE* these as we have the others.  And…it’s true!  They are wonderful!

Milo the Mantis Who Wouldn’t Pray hit a little close to home for this momma.  {sheepishly looking away} It was about a Praying Mantis who “didn’t know how to pray”.  He tried to do and do and do so that God could see or hear his prayers…but God never seemed to answer.  Until he finally “gave up self” and then saw the answer to his prayers.

Buzby and the Grumble Bees is about his neice and nephew visiting who are “typical kids” these days that think the world revolves around them and that everyone is here to serve them.  In a very unique and rather inovative way, the bugs in the garden show the kids how undesirable their behavior really is – and how life with rules is really the best.

Hailey & Bailey’s Silly Fight talks about how the majority of our arguements with others don’t do anything but harm everyone involved, and others around; and that most of our fights are over very silly things.  Arguing never pleases God.

These three together make an excellent set – talking about prayer, getting along and behaving…three things most families discuss many different times.  Each video is approximately 30 minutes in length and the video set sells for $19.99.

Have a wonderfully blessed day!
